Finally! Summer's finally here (well... if you live on the northern hemisphere) and most of us are on summer break. If you're like me and have some weeks without any plans like working or travelling it can get boring.
To prevent boredom I write a bucket list every year with things to do during the summer. I like to do stuff I usually don't have the time for during school but always wanted to do.
So if you've already run out of ideas for stuff to do during the summer, don't worry, I got ya! Most of these things you don't necessarily have to with someone, so you're perfectly fine with this list if all your friends are on holiday.
- go to a museum, the cinema or to the zoo
- go on a day trip / road trip. enjoy nature and search for beautiful hidden places
- sit down and get food at a café / restaurant you've never been to
- read a book
- do art! paint, write a song, sculpt something idk lol
- clean or rearrange your room / house hardcore
- cook a meal with a friend or your family
- play beach volleyball, ping pong, basketball... just do sports with some of your friend
- or workout
- watch the sunset
- host a BBQ
- make a scrapbook
- go to ikea
- clear out your wardrobe
- make money by selling old stuff at a flea market or visit one
- go to a concert
- go swimming at a lake or river (if possible)
- start your own blog
- movie night
- discover new music
- attend a class for whatever... belly dance, boxing, pilates
- get a haircut
- go to a farm where you can pick your own strawberries or flowers
- go hiking
- go to a karaoke bar
- make fancy summer drinks: smoothies, cocktails, lemonades
- go camping
- write a letter to your older self
- bowling
- laser tag / paintball
- go carting
- have a game night: board games, card games (you can make any game into a drinking game too)
- water balloon / water gun fight
- go to a climbing park
